sandkistenrunde
9° celsius. dry, no wind. 19:19 (1:14:24)
the first thing i realised was that my trainer had a problem - an achilles tendon. that was what he told me. some of my new running colleagues told me that last sunday, he (the trainer) conducted the lsd on his bike. hmm...
today's programm was a wiederholungsläufe (repeates(?)) around the sandkisten (children's playground) in the stadtpark. it was broken into 4 parts, recovery run, sprint, recovery and sprint. we had to do this 8 times and for the first round, i felt that i was quite relax, i just need to lean a bit forward and open up my stride. walah, the round was over. it was approximately 1000 meters per round.
i saved a little bit energy for the last round. shortly before the final sprint, norbert mentioned my name and told the others to be aware cos i'm coming to the front. at the final sprint starting point, i sprinted and sprinted and was astonished that i could leave the rest behind. i maintained the speed 3/4 way and slowed down the rest but still managed to maintain the position (being first) till the end. i felt good.
